They're going to be released by Pegasus next week. I didn't see anything here about them, figured you guys would be way more excited by the first mass-produced, licensed kits based on the Pal film. If you haven't seen them, here's the link: www.pegasushobbies.com/

I imagine that there'll be several aftermarket accessories for these new kits MrGrotey. I think someone is already working on a lighting system for the large model, and possibly one for the 1/144 diorama as well. No doubt there'll be several types of alternate resin bases available too.
BTW, they're also planning a non-Disney version of Verne's Nautilus for later on, so maybe a WOTW Tripod kit wouldn't be out of the question for them...

Welcome to the forum by the way, nice to have a fellow model-builder here (given if you build models, but if you just buy them already put together that's ok too).

Although currently I'm just a theoretical model-builder. It's been ages since I've had the time (or workspace) to sit down and build a model. I'm currently more of a collector of unbuilt kits rather than a builder (or scratchbuilder), a position I know I'm not alone in Maybe the new MWM kit will change that! Do you have any of your models online? Always interested in seeing the work of other modelers. Nice to see these boards still exist BTW. I used to lurk at the old ones. Even the Pendragon board still has traffic, amazing!

I know what you mean about not having enough space to build your models, the last one I built was done in the virtual world of the Internet It was called 'How to scratch build Trim's Fighting Machine' here's a link to it. www.focusgaming.co.uk/eveofthewar/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1243&sid=eeedc2c3b86d70ddb539a288ccc89245

Even the Pendragon board still has traffic, amazing! Well I build models from kits, and they're not WotW models. They're submarine models. I've got the USS Gato, the USS Skipjack, and a Russian Typhoon class submarine that I'm still working on. They're not online yet, but if anyone's interested, and if I can find my camera cable that allows me to upload photographs to my computer, I'll post my work. I know all about submarines (and I mean ALL. I'm a freaking walking submarine encyclopedia!) so if anyone wants to ask me a question I'll answer it.

so if anyone wants to ask me a question I'll answer it. OK. Where would you find 'Lomonosov'? Ah when you said "Ask me a question, I'll answer it" you probably meant questions about submarines... yes I should have thought that one through a bit better. sorry.

Heh, that's ok Lonesome. When I read "Lomonosov," I was a bit scared that there could be a submarine that I've never heard of (Oh noes!).
