[glow=red,2,300]No need to sue mate, everything seems to have worked out quite nicely. Thanks everyone for keeping me a part of things even though my health and life dramas have rather rolled back my activity level in the community. Along with a host of various dramas recently Sill (aka Demon_Angel) and I have split up after long-term unresolvable differences (and believe me we both tried) which has been rough on us both too.
But this is a great place full of great people so there's no way I'm giving up on you all. So if I dissapear for too long people can always email me to remind me to make it a priority, despite the 'brain fog', to drop by and chat.

I'm also sorry, Bayne. Truly. But as I have taken on the mantle of the person in charge of this site I will make an effort to ensure you stay involved with our community. Expect emails aplenty if you don't stay in touch!!!!!

[glow=red,2,300]Thanks guys! ;D Back to the show.. I found the mention of a dance from the UllaDubUlla strings interesting. I don't recall that from the Brisbane performance. Can you give any more detail? [/glow]

Yes!! Well, the string section decided at Glasgow (the first night of the UK Tour) that they would like to do a 'dance' when they were called during the encores. It was basically a simple standing up and swaying (together in time) to the beat of 'The Epilogue: Part 1' whilst playing their instruments... but it is surprisingly effective! So, they asked Jeff if it was ok (as Jeff told me last night) and, through the UK Tour since they have done their little thing toward the end of the show. It's a pity that THIS tour won't be on DVD... it's little touches like that which are helping the Tour to evolve (Jeff sees this Tour as Mk II). Perhaps the next Tour (should there be such an animal ) will also be filmed. I've offered a suggestion or two myself. If they get in, I'll let you know!

PS John wrote "Lies, I saw the devils sign!" @poyks In mine he wrote: ''From the start until now'' I guess that is a twofold thing from the fact that I told him I was a fan from the beginning of the album... to the fact that I was there from the start of the 'Official' website... and somehow... two and a half years later... still am. I had an email from him today. Top bloke! John would be a fella I could drain a few beers with! And yeah, I shouldn't knock the digicrap camera! It did a stout job on the night!

It really makes me happy to see and read of you lot having such an exciting and memorable occasion! And in the company of such prestigious and respected artists as well! And, that despite some obstacles to overcome, you all made it safely. And look at your payoff!! A newer vision of Jeff's masterpiece, some wonderful photos, autographs and a whole lot more!
It speaks not only of achievement for a really cool goal, but a great friendship as well. Wish I coulda been there!
Julia Thornton! Now c'mon guys! Posing with such a cute and talented female percussionist. How can I not envy you all a bit!? Again, congrats to all on what I'm sure was a fantastic show and marvelous occasion!

Sounds like it was great fun. I remember the Melbourne show and how awesome it was - and I thought the newer Richard Burton head was much better than the older one I saw on the First Tour DVD. Equally like Bayne, I don't remember the dancing though. bayne, sorry to hear that buddy. Remember you've always got us here to come and have a chat with. Hope things are picking up for you.

Looks like it was an awesome day out guys.
Ive just been lookin at this thread and rememebering back to the WotW Online days when I used to take part and think its about time I started here awell. Especially after reading this and seeing the community in such flow and familiarity.
So, Ive decided, "I will give my life to this forum, here and now......", only I dont expect it to be dead when i reach the top of the hill.

Great pictures Nerfy- really enjoyed this. Only just looked, like, but I'm such a rare visitor to this lovely URL at the mo!!! I'm very jealous- especially of getting to chat to Chris Thompson, having grown up with not only WOTWO, but Manfred Mann's Blinded By The Light (OK OK- I've not really grown up at all, but you know what I mean!!!), I'm now a big fan of his singing. I was gutted that I wasn't allowed to take my camera into Wembley in 2006- the stewards said the lens was too big (oo er!)- it's a Lumix FZ20, so bigger than yer average digital jobbie, but not an SLR or owt.... Maybe next time they tour, I'll be pestering you for at least special dispensation to use my camera?! Or I could just tag along as general SciFiShock photographer?... 'nuther edit- Bayne- sorry to hear your sad news mate. But on the flip side, it's good to see you on here more often and glad one of your plush martians got to Jeff. Nice! I shall be requisitioning one meself at some point (hint to the forum- it's my birthday in a few weeks- yes, my biiiirthday, my preciousssssss!)
