The new war of the Worlds ish movie Monsters was made with 10,000 dollars. Hi def cam, filmed it on the go and used clever CG guys to edit in the sfx!
Their is no excuse any more for shit movie making. Even the Judge Minty fan film looks as if its had 50 mil spent on it.
Sorry but there isd no excuse for Timbos woeful effort anymore.

He'd probably find some way to sue them.

He'd probably find some way to sue them. Hehe! ;D Dredd's Lawmaster motorcycle looks just like the horse and cart Hines used in one of the scenes in his original film. ;D it's got 2 wheels and a seat.

This leads to a serious point. *rant coming on* If these movies were made with a low budget and still look fantastic, Hines's film had the same potential at its low budget, and it also had brilliant source material. That's what strikes me as sad about the Pendragon saga. Had Hines been more honest concerning his movie's budget, and more mature about its criticism, I could have forgiven the low budget if he had only showed evidence that he tried. In the hands of a more competent director, a period WotW could have been fantastic. Hines did not try, however, and that is why his film is such a bitter disappointment for me. *rant over*
