Finally got round to seeing this last night and watched it twice. Easily one of my favourite movies this year. The plot is nice and twisty, the deaths (which I wasn't expecting, knowing little about it) are hilariously gory and everone in it (and WHAT a cast!) shines. I think Nick Frost has turned out to be a major acting talent... not bad for a bloke Simon Pegg met working in a Chiquito's Mexican restaraunt! How these guys keep doing it is beyond me (Cate Blanchett appears unbilled and in a mask for her entire appearance, as does Peter Jackson as the murderous Santa!). Excellent movie!

Just thought I'd say that I totally agree with everything Nerfy says about this film. My DVD arrived last week and I've watched it 3 times already. Absolutely awesome film. Nick Frost does indeed act his socks off and there's brilliant performances from Timothy Dalton, Kenneth Cranham, Edward Woodwood and Billy Whitelaw just to name a few. Great story with action, lots of comedy and some really touching scenes.

Actually got round to watching it tonight for the first time! Mrs Poyks and I thought it was feckin' brilliant!!! All round excellent movie. Proof once again by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (and a brilliant list of other cast members), that British comedy is still very much live and kicking!!

Ever been stabbed? Yes. What was it like? It was the single most painful experience in my life.
What was the second most painful?
