Nicest one I've found that you can get here with any ease is Krušovice. Very nice stuff indeed.

Interestingly, or not probably, but whatever , The american Budweiser was using the name before the Budejovice brewery started using it.

There is a great German wheat beer a friend of mine introduced me to - Ayinger Brau Weiss. Absolutely gorgeous. I have only seen it on draught in one pub, and that was in Salford (near the University - can't remember the name). I'd love to drink it again, but importing it is pricey. It looks like frothy Orange juice:

Yeah, sounds like unpasturised beer. Had a few pints of that in my travels through the Czech Republic. Have had some wierd stuff over there, but it all knocks spots off any of the rubbish we get over here. Almost wish I'd never had it, as its kind of ruined normal lager for me, which I was fine with until my little trip

That may well be the case...but it still tastes better than Budweiser

For me, pretty much any Czech beer would be my choice... Though oddly I do also like Michelob (which is a Budweiser brand!) and Canadian Coors.

Totally with you there. Anything Czech is fantastic, its just that the fantastic stuff we get over here isn't as good as the really fantastic stuff that's over there.

Not to worry, just means I keep having to go back.

Need to take Nerf and RB over for a while and show the the wonderful Czech "culture"
