Hey everybody! I haven't been around much due to work. I'm just wrapping up on the set of The Good Sisters, the latest film from Forbidden Pictures. it's a psychological horror starring Debbie Rochon (Tromeo and Juliet) and April Monique Burril (Chainsaw Sally). It's been a blast, but very time consuming. Feel free to check out my blog from the set. blog.myspace.com/meleestormbringerHopefully I'll be back soon to spend some quality time with my friends here at SciFiShock!!! Keep watching the skies...

I kinda feel out of place here, a lot of you have positions like (insert something rather important here). I'm a teenage WotW fan with little more than a room in a house, a semi-nice computer, and a job at a (insert rather unimportant workplace here).

Nobody is out of place in our community here. Everyone is equal apart from Nerf who is a little more equal being the Govnaah.

Agreed, no one should feel out of place. This place has one of the best communities around. Indeed, you a fan of WoTW, so am I - so are many other people here. We all share a common interest in it, so you're fine. Also Melee, hopefully you can join us again soon.

I live on feeling out of place.
Well- it certainly explains a few things, anyway!
Hey- CT. Yer a mod!
Well- roger me with a jamjar! I need to pay more attention meself!
Hey- Relyt. The only thing you should be comparing yourself with is yourself and your goals. 'sides. We're all cracked here. It's not a thing to aspire to!!! Everyone's here because of a fairly common interest- WOTW or at least one of the topics on the front of the board.

I'm a teenage WotW fan with little more than a room in a house, a semi-nice computer, and a job at a (insert rather unimportant workplace here). We all came here with the common fact that we are all fans of WOTW. One of the wonderful things about science fiction fans is that the communty we travel in is very diverse. No one is out of place here. Everyone belongs. One of us..one of us....we accept you....

I'm more partial to the Alice Cooper refrain from "Clones". "All are one and one are all, all are one and one are all...."

No more, no less. However... I do have the special buttons to press. So here, I guess, I am special. (Insert joke here... at your peril, obviously ) Anyway.... 'one of us..' isn't that from Tod Browning's 'Freaks'?

Anyway.... 'one of us..' isn't that from Tod Browning's 'Freaks'? among other places. I think that was the original usage.

I kinda feel out of place here, a lot of you have positions like (insert something rather important here). Just remember Relyt, every single person here was once young, was once the newest member of whatever group they just joined, once felt out of place, and once took awhile to get to where they felt like they belonged. In fact, this happens over and over throughout our lives. So: Welcome to life! And someday you too will be able to say: "Well, you young whippersnapper, I can remember back in the day when I was a wet-behind-the-ears SciFiShock Forum member, with less than 100 posts to my screen name..." Relyt, I didn't join the old "War of the Worlds" forum because I was an expert on the subject, but because I wanted to learn more. But I stuck with it, and indeed learned a *lot* more about it; and so one day Nerfy honored me by asking that I create a FAQ for this forum regarding Wells' classic novel.
