Staying on the positive side (i.e. no timbo crucifixions), what part of the film made you laugh out loud, be it intentional or otherwise? Mine had to be the bit in the cellar where the tentacle probes about near his boot, then goes out, and closes the door behind itself. Must be the most polite probing tentacle in the universe! Thing is, I'm fairly sure that's in the novel, too....

I noticed that thing with the tentacle, too. In my opinion, the funniest bit was where that guy locked Ogilvy in the shed. I'm not sure if that was meant to be funny, but I laughed anyway.

Anthony Piana all the way. The bit where he leers at the maid at the breakfast table and also the way he says 'What newwwwws today?'

I hated the film, but the Blackmoon version made me laugh.

The bit where Piana looks at the priest- you can see him thinking 'who the bloody hell have I landed myself with now?!!'

For me, it has to be the barely-moving victims of the Heat Ray which dissolve into "dancing skeletons". You'd think that people on fire would run around screaming, then quit moving after they're dead, but apparently in this story it's the opposite...

Perhaps that was just a side-effect of the Heat-Ray.
Warning: May cause immobility followed by periods spastic movement even after death.

There are pointless scenes that make me laugh, such as Oglivy being locked in the barn by that mad American farmer... Great stuff but what the hell is it in the film for???
