Parts of it were quite funny, yes. I could have done with a lot less swearing, tho. There's plenty of unintentional humor in the original film to be mined, and they did have some pointed satire, what with the "pixilated" walking sequences sped up to Keystone Kops speed, plus of course the "dancing skeletons". Too bad they had to throw in all that swearing. Apparently they just threw that in to hide the fact that they couldn't come up with more funny dialog.
Just my opinion, of course.

That i agree, it would have been just as funny with the word 'bloody' instead of 'whatsname' all the time.
Apart from that i thought it was brilliant.

I don't know what to make of that Blackmoon geezer! The bits I've seen are quite funny yes but his websites a bit odd. I know there's all different kinds of websites for different things but what on earth's the point in setting up a website that just has photo's from the Alien film?
And most of the other stuff on his website seemed pretty pointless too. The only real thing that seem to have some sort of a point to it was his Pendragon WOTW parodies.
Also I read somewhere that he's a fan of Spielbergs movie. Nothing odd about that I suppose but even though lots of us have had a fair pop at Pendragon - that seems to be his only purpose in life at the moment and for the last few years!

IMHO, Pendragon should be flattered that anybody took enough interest in the film to parody it. A lack of a sense of humor is a sign that one takes one's self WAY too seriously.

Looks like there is more bad news. I do not know when it was taken down, but this video is no longer on Video Google. It looks like the fun is officially over. It is a good thing I still have the original version that I downloaded a while ago. I hope as many people as possible still have a copy. There is just no way to post it on the Internet anymore.

Too bad, the only good thing we've ever gotten out of Pendragon's disaster is now gone. Tripod

When you can't poke fun at your own work (especially when it is baaaaaad), it's time to move on to other things.
The Pendragon guys are an exception... never should have done it at all. I was, as most of us probably were, at first intrigued by the period adaptaion. Then when I saw his Troma credentials, I knew all was lost.
If he had been able to keep his sense of humor, and treated the whole affair as "Toxic Avenger vs. the Martians," it could'a worked. But flaming skeletons (stock CGI armatures at that) falling into grass that does not burn?? And without even a stab at color correction? Please. My stuff for Madacy Video, while lame, was batter that that!

I was given a copy of their script long before anyone outside the company had seen any footage, and it was very well done, in fact its still a good read.
I had a lot of fun passing on Pendragon's press releases and watching the intense and emotional reactions, though I was sad to see some become consumed by their hate.
I think Wells would have appreciated most of the responses mainly because they proved there is still a lot of love for his work. Unfortunately the last few years have also proven its still not very well understood - and goes to show why he largely abandoned the "scientific romance" form for his messages just a few years later in favor of a more, shall we say, direct approach.
