From the "better late than never" department, I just wanted to let people know that my score to "H. G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" should be available for purchase on iTunes and Rhapsody sometime in November. I will have updates at my website when it becomes available. www.JamieHall.net Feel free to re-post this anywhere that people might be interested. Please note that I do not believe the score can be sold in the UK version of the iTunes store due to copyright issues.

As a composer and producer myself, I think the arrangements are superb, and rival some of the best! Just to be totally objective, there are places in the recordings that show up the sampled sounds, for example the attack/release on some of the notes/tones, and a bit more work on the dynamics of the individual instrument tracks would add a more human element. If you have control of vibrato on solo instruments to edit, that would also help as the LFO settings can sound a little constant. On the whole, I enjoyed the compositions! PS on a much more positive note the emotional feel to the music is wonderful! PPS Welcome to the boards!

Jamie's music was just about the only good thing in Pendragons film.

Thanks for the kind words! I tried to go to www.eveofthewar.com yesterday and I can't seem to reach it. Has that site gone away, or is it just experiencing a hiccup? I know some folks over there asked for a soundtrack release ages ago and I wanted to let them know it was going to happen.
