They are both squid like creatures except the Daleks have one eye and the Martians have two. I wonder if Terry Nation got the idea for the Dalek mutants from WOTW?

Mmmm, squishy tentacled creatures that need a protective metal machine to get about and cause much havoc. The similarities are certainly there.
