Sorry but the tripod at Woking always looks as if it's got it's legs crossed, like it's busting to go to the toilet. ;D or perhaps it's just drunk.

I would agree that it looks better from images, but actually being there RE: forum meet-up 2008 its absolutely stunning, brilliant craftsmanship so unless you've been there you cant really appreciate the Woking one. Having said that you may well well have seen the Woking one anyway in which case i'll shut up

Yes, be thankful that you get to actually see tripods in your country. The closest thing I get to see of one of those is the tripod mainmast of the Arleigh Burke class guided missile destroyers at Norfolk Naval Weapons Station.
