Just been watching some series two episodes. It's fookin brilliant!!!! PS, I mean really brilliant, I never knew how good the story was portrayed until this viewing. OK the graphics are well dodgy at times, but the story is beautifully told!!! This is a truly stunning sci-fi story very cleverly written!

I agree it's one of the best BBC scifi shows they did. Pity they didn't do a season 3.

Ace. Nice one Poyks.
Are they as ghey as they probably ought to be, what with the costumes et al (At least in the City of Gold and Lead- come to think of it, what a great title for a book that really is!)
Agreed Rusti- a shame the story wasn't finished. Loved it as a young'un.
Must get the book again at some point- lost it somewhere along the way...

Once you get back into the spirit of it, it all comes back to like listening to an old favourite album! It's still exciting to watch in spite of all of it's 'faults'. They really made the effort for the time and it should be labelled as a true classic.
