Nice work, B! You know June reminds me of 'Tubular Bells' a little. Ace!

Holst a La Mars, or Holst a La Jupiter? Definitely 'a La Jupiter'! Ta everyone, and LC, ace ideas! I can't think of any suggestions as yet, you've got it pretty well covered (no pun!) but I'll keep the thinking cap on.

I really like the diversity of instruments on this one. Everything from piano, to mandolin(?) to accordion. Some wonderfully intricate and culturally influenced melodies, Poyks! Well done!

Thanks mate, yes the mandolin is in there selected from my pile of old timber. .... and the accordion is the one passed on to me by my Grandad who passed away a couple of years ago, so any sound I make with that is a definite bonus.

How many different types of instrument can you play? You're beginning to sound a bit like a Mike Oldfield or an Ian Anderson. Talking of Ian Anderson, Can you play the flute? ;D

I've never been able to afford a flute so I've never tried. It'd be cool to have a go one day ... and a sax would be on the list sometime as well!

One for the wish list for when you're rich and famous. Absolutely! I may chuck an Aston Martin Tickford Capri on the list as well while I'm at it! OK, not a musical instrument but what the heck!! ;D

This music project is shared with a weather forum I frequent, and I've just found out that one of the members of the weather forum has passed away. There will be a section of the new piece of music dedicated to this person and I must admit I feel a bit strange about human mortality at this time. I've been doing some mortal questioning just lately, and this exacerbates things a tad.

Sorry to hear that, I think when you get to our age you begin to realize, your not going to live forever and it's brought home even more when someone you know passes away. Looking forward to the July piece. A dedication is a nice idea.
