Vanessa and I went to see this on Sunday. I'm a big Evil Dead fan, so was hoping that it would hark back to those glory gory days. I was not disappointed. Vanessa screamed and clung on to my arm most of the way through. It had jumps and gore aplenty with some fantastic little nods and winks at the Evil Dead trilogy. Two brilliant scenes to look out for were the gumming scene (say no more!!!) and the coffin/wake scene. Hilarious and gruesome in equal measures! Top marks Mr Raimi! Back on form.
