The film has now been green lit and filming commeneces in 2011 for a 2012 release. RB will be pleased to know Judge Anderson is in the film. Dredd will keep his helmet on. Karl Urban will be Dredd. Urban has said he has been a fan of Dredd for years. The film will be much much darker in tone and there will be more action and more to the comic then the Stallone movie. If this is true i cant wait.  |

Ive read what appears to be a leaked script. Now i dont know if its the real one but i would be pleased if it were filmed.
I wont reveal spoilers but i will give little hints.
Anderson is a Rookie Judge being assesed by Dredd.
She's a full on psychic as in the comic.
The action takes place in and around a 70,000 citizen mega block.
He uses his lawmaster bike in anger.
There are dozens of deaths, the whole story is basically one long gang war and Dredd is smack in the middle of it all. (Think the first 10 mins of the 90's movie but spread over two hours!)
There are bent/corrupt Judges.
Cant say more without spoiling it. I hope this is the movie filmed it reads mega action and sounds like the Dredd we love.
