Its been green lit, this film is not a re-hash or a reboot (thank gawd) but a Prequel rumoured to be set on the Space Jockey Homeworld and answers the question: where is the Alien from and how the Company got to be aware of it.
Ridley Scott is producing the flick and is rumoured to be involved because of the God awful AVP movies and the film will tie into the franchise.
The unofficial title of the film is ALIEN 0
Release date 2011.

They improved the AvP sillyness in the second film but they still shouldn't have been done. I knew nothing of a prequal so this is brilliant news. My gf will like this news too. I look forward to this v much Cheers for the heads up. |

The latest ive heard is that the prequel will go back to the 1 ship, 1 alien story.
