Nice one Rusti, I didn't know Ray Harryhausen was still alive, he must be knocking on a bit by now.
Good luck on the night.
Now go and change you trousers and hope it was just a bit of wee.... How excited were you? ;D

You may find this either quite witty, or excessively cheesy, but when it comes to Blu-rays, I'd rather have a heat-ray.

OK latest news and its not good. The Documentary has been cancelled. 20th Cent Fox rejected the Doc before they even seen it due to limited space on the disks. Needless to say a lot of people are bummed off. We are in hallowed company though there are several other Documentaries and behind the scenes footage some made by renowned film makers have been rejected too. The doc may be shown on TV in various countries though and may be shown as streaming content on Fox website but thats an unckown quantity. Myself though im well pissed off this was my best chance of getting my artwork known and its now gone. Anywhay here is the first 10 mins of the doc see for yourself. One of my pics can be seen briefly in the first few mins of the clip. vimeo.com/13430302

I am so sorry for you Rusti, I can imagine how much you were counting on this. Thanks mate, yeah the maker Andrew is still in touch the Alien Anthology producer is trying to get the doc shown elsewhere, with the new Alien movies in production there is a good chance it may be used albeit in a different way. Just not what it was intended for. You can see the quality of the production its a damn waste.

Yes. The artwork is brilliant, and same goes for the documentary. I'm really sorry that it didn't get put on.

That's a bummer. Bung it on the CV anyway, I'm totally sure you will be rewarded for your talents soon enough, real talent gets there in the end.

Those disappointments niggle you for a couple of days, but it's not long before you realise the benefits and push further. I've been there but not worn the T-Shirt, us creative bods should design one and get some made!! hehe!!

Yep, that's Fox for you. They cancel every high-quality production they come in contact these days, it's like an accomplishment to have your work rejected by Fox. Yes, let's treat it like that. Seriously. Firefly got canceled by Fox, and it turned out as one of the best sci-fi shows around. So, what I'm saying is you got bragging rights.

Sorry to hear that, Rus. As Mr P said this is just a temporary set back - your work is excellent, so will get out there. Your concept art for Sinema was brilliant.
