Back in business, with not one but two adaptions of the same project, so more news soon, and yes the Christopher Raven Project is also still on track

Wow. I just read your blog and checked out your website. It's incredible. You've got my word that I'll be buying your movie set and game if you keep going at this rate. You sure do have a lot of dedication to your art.

The Flying Machine, adapted from the same technology for the Martian Observer. I may do two version of these for different functions, extermination and Terraforming.

Untextured demo of the Martian models. I haven't done the Cylinders or the Handling Machine yet

I don't mean to be critical, I like your Flying Machine and your Martian but your Tripod looks short and with the thicker part of the leg at the bottom it looks like it's wearing boots. Will there be more detail on the feet? because with such little surface detail it looks like a small plastic model, just a few inches high. Sorry to be picky, but that wouldn't scare me, even if it was 100ft high.

That's because I haven't finished it yet, especially the feet. If you look closer I am working on an exo-skeletal look, like an Insect, with only Necessary exposed muscles, like the tentacles, and techs-Organic muscle systems. See the thing is to rule out the wheel and the cog all together. The Martian doesn't so much pilot the fighting machine as he does "think" the machine as an extension of it's brain, the Martian's tentacles are in particular the most sensitive part of the Martian's body, more complex then their eyes for what will become very obvious reasons.
"they made and used different bodies according to their needs"
The body they have is practically one massive brain after all, with only the basic components needed to survive outside of their artificial bodies.

Here's a little pose test with a basic rig. I am aiming for an agile predator, I based a lot of pose on the Jurassic Park T-Rex. Added a little atmosphere for effect
