I couldnt find a spare seat at the convention when I first saw this film and I can't stress enough how fantastic it was. Thought provoking, powerful, emotional, claustophobic, orginal. Simply everything sci-fi films have lost over the years.
If you ever get an opportunity, watch this film

On the contrary, when I saw the trailer in the cinema I was instantly looking to see it, I was unbelievably disappointed in the actual product. It bored me silly, far too slow.
It is actually one of the VERY few films I have turned off before the finish. I have probablyonly ever done that about 3-4 times, ever. I expected more from it.

I loved it - understated and simmering. I saw the twist coming early on, but it didn't spoil it for me. MrG is right in that not a lot actually happens, but I didn't find that a problem.

[...]Thought provoking, powerful, emotional, claustophobic, orginal. Simply everything sci-fi films have lost over the years. [...] I enjoyed the spaceship feeling, such as in Alien or Event Horizon. Even though it takes place "just" on moon, I felt taken away into deep space.
