Which Thing movie is this a prequel to? The set looks fascinating.

The Thing by John Carpenter...
This does look pretty good. I was hoping for a sequel rather than a prequel, but beggers can't be choosers.

It'll have to be absolutely spot on if it's going to reflect the quality of John Carpenter's version of the original story, fingers crossed could be a winner.

Trouble with a prequel like this, you know how it's going to end. ..................SPOILER............. for Stargazer, the only person on Earth who hasn't seen 'THE THING' ;D The last couple of guys chasing a dog across the Antarctic wastes in a helicopter.....................END OF SPOILER....................

Well I haven't seen it either, but I didn't get anything from that spoiler. It must be broken.

Well, I am one of the youngest members here. Not old enough to drink actually. So, films like this were made long before I was.

Well, Relyt young lad it's time you watched it. For its age the special effects still hold up very well except for some stop animation at the very end. It is an absolutely classic horror film in every sense. The sense of claustrophobia and lurking menace is second to none.

"The Thing" sounds like a movie I've got to see.

Well I haven't seen it either, but I didn't get anything from that spoiler. It must be broken. It's not a Hyperlink! it's a SPOILER! If you are going to reveal the plot to a film or book you place your message between the words - SPOILER and END OF SPOILER - so people who don't want to know the plot don't read it accidentally, it's also a good idea to make your message small and in a colour that is difficult to read.

If you want a link to one of the earlier scenes in the film.....

Spoilers break all the time man, that's why everyone should have this installed. PS- I knew it wasn't a hyperlink.

That dog scene is excellent as is the head spider scene.
That's an interesting car...someone's got way too much time on their hands!
