Thanks all. P.S. I will need to wangle a huge great fuck-off copy of that for my wall. The size I am working at, should be big enough to make an A1 sized poster easily. Trouble with book cover art is, it tends to be very lopsided, most of the interesting stuff is on the right of the picture (the front cover) but with spaces left for the title and author. So it often works as a book cover but not as a wall picture.

Trainee
Can I make a suggestion that doesn't involve violence, or is this the wrong crowd for that?

So it often works as a book cover but not as a wall picture. Forgivable I think, and still worth it for Scifi Shocks I would think - Just my opinion. If I was capable f writing a book and had a friend who could crank out that art work for it, I probably wouldnt really notice it being asymetrical.

I can't wait to see the complete cover! All the individual elements are amazing in their own right, but together it will look out of this world (no pun intended!).

Okay, getting close now, just the soldiers to add and a bit of tinkering with the tonal qualities. If everything goes alright I should be done by the weekend..... There's no 'fingers crossed emoticom.

The first soldier to be added to the beach (not counting the one playing the part of the wicker man).
