But...
If anyone has a problem they should talk to me directly... rather than try to beliittle me on my OWN site.
I'm open to discussion.... but I am VERY busy with TWoTW related shit (never mind my own stuff that pays the bills) and I cant always accomodate. Unless it is brought to my attention. I may have omited to mention certain sources (I always do)... but this shit has now pissed me off.
Frankly. If some people of the people who whpo come on mu site spent less time bemoaning the loss of certain sites.... I might have an easier time of it. How do you think that feels?
I'm tired of hearing how great eveofthewar.com was... so shut up. It's gone... the financial plug was pulled and they lost interest. Get over it.
I'm REALLY tired of this shit. And I've been in this field longer than a great many of you.
So..... Really... Fuck off... or talk to me as a person. That's all I have ever asked. I am a person.
BTW, relyt.... by the time you read this your work will have been fully credited on Jeff's site. My apologies for forgetting to type your name (and I really did forget) in there.
Also, thanks to bwayneauckland or whatever your name is for making me look like a twat. BIG style. And for almost killing my site, and all I have tried to achieve, with one post.

This site, is now almost defunct. Well done, you who have taken away, in a second, my reasons for keeping this site going.
I've now got two choices.... listen to one or two people who didn't want to talk to me directly for what they saw as a wrong that I did them. Or could I talk to them directly and carry on the work I have strived for for years.
Frankly I was relying on my good name (and I am well known in our field) and hoping that those who had a problem would come to me. But they didn't. Some would rather rip me to shreds on my own site. Notice I have not removed these posts..
Anyway. It's all over as far as I am concerned.
A tip, for anyone looking for somewhere to post.... I hear (alot,.. an awful lot) that the eveofthewar.co.uk is still going. Maybe you can all, the fucking lot of you, go there.
Have fun... it's pretty good, I will admit.
I'm sure they will be glad of the patronage. The guy who runs it is a nice fella.

I didn't mean it that way, it was meant as a joke. No hard feelings at all. I'm really sorry how my joke had a huge back fire. I really do feel awful about this. And I'm sure that bagnewauckland did not mean any harm in his remark. So I am willing to take full blame for this grave misunderstanding, because if it's anyone's fault, it's mine.

I get paid NOTHING for what I do here and the same for what I do on Jeff's site. But at least I get a modicum of respect from those on Jeff's site. I don't crave it... god knows I know how shit works... but I am getting on and I ask a little more from life. I've had this for years. And my love for TWoTW has driven me on.
No more.
I'll work on Jeff's site... but this site I run myself now all seems to be a waste of time.

I posted that as soon as I saw this. I beg you, please don't close it. The number of WOTW forums is dwindling. If this one closes, that would be the third one I've seen. First waroftheworldsonline, then eveofthewar, and then this. In my life, there is NOBODY I can have an intelligent conversation with my interest in HG Wells' great novel, a forum is the only place I have, and I'm sure there are other members here who feel the same way. None of us meant anything to insult you, we're all friends here, and if this site closes, that bond will possibly be forever destroyed. On behalf of all the great members of this masterpiece of a forum, we apologize, and we beg you to reconsider. If anything could be done to right this wrong, I'd do it. Even if I need to leave and never come back. If there is a punishment, I'll take it. I'll take it all, just don't let the other members suffer because of me. I have learned twice now during a few days that what one person perceives as a joke another may perceive it as an insult. Again, I apologize, no harm at all was meant.

Thank you so much. I think I speak for everyone to tell you how relieved we are to see that this site will thrive. I have to say that throughout this ordeal I have been trembling, barely able to restrain myself from giving up all hope of ever coming back here again.
Mr. Relyt: that sounds weird, considering I'm only a teenager! ;D
