OK, get straight to the point, this forum needs to a) attract new members which we are doing and b) bring old members back, rip them away from facebook, twitter. Reason i'm suggesting this is that I'm fed up of losing friends off Facebook because Fb is a pile of dog poo. No doubt about it FB has torn away a lot of people not just from this forum but many others too Ive been to and frankly FB is not terribly personal. Myself i hate twitter, i used to like it it has begun to drive me nuts with random gripings and utterly useless meaningless observations. We need to get the forum working again. Keep your Twitters and your facebooks if you want that thats fine, but we need a home base so to speak and this is the perfect place. We need to get this buzzing again. We need a chat room for the forum, proboards does this. Lets have a good conflab and see what we can come up with.  |

What about having a general chat board where we can chat about any topic/news etc etc. It may move things on a bit and get people chatting - just an idea  |

I think thats a good point, a place where you can log into and people can have a live chat. That would be a huge bonus.
We need to get Nerfy on here. See if he's up for it.

I do drop by on this forum regularly but do not reply very much. I think that there are more like me that do the same. I am most interested in Twotw related topics. I would really like to see an active forum again, like the old Twotw forum that was buzzing with life. Of course there where 3 films in the making back then. Good Twotw times |

I know it's a WOW forum but if u want attract new female members especially then I think there needs to be a general chat board I'm not sure of female to male ratio of members but Im guessing it is 80% male 20% female if not even higher |

Hi Mrs P, as an under represented female, I know exactly what you mean. I was thinking of building a site for female sf-fantasy fans, but then my 'puter broke.
I come in here Rusti, but I dont login unless I plan to post. IDK, social networking has killed a lot of microsites, even those with general conversation threads. Not really sure what the answer is. Maybe in time people will come back to the single purpose sites

Facebook is a good communications tool like email but with more cowbell! But its not very user friendly. |

Totally agree, guys (and gal!). Nerf has been AWOL a bit because of a number of reasons, but I'll have a word with him and get things moving.
