What about now?

I remember finding the old website for War of the Worlds, scouring through it like discovering an old ancient attic your great-great-great-great-great grandparents had. Like some magical adventure back in time; but alas it comes to an end. For some reason, I read the posts of other users on the old website almost like a story book. I found the users I really liked, and enjoyed reading their posts, kinda like seeing a time capsule, or journal. But as I go on... I see the site dying, slowly, and slowly. But still, I continue on reading until I read some of the last posts made... For some reason, I got teary-eyed, like reading the last entry of a family member's journal... I wanted to cry (Yes I know, over a forum?) I grew attached, I saw the posts very human. It hurt to see the final posts of goodbye and now I see this as dead. Maybe now... Maybe this site may need to lay to rest too. Like the father of this forum, this site has met the same fate too... I am going to add a poll, for no other reason to confirm what I see...

Social media has unfortunately rendered forums like these much quieter, and in some ways obsolete. I have seen it on other forums I have been a member of as well, it is unfortunate but I guess the way things go. There were still many good times here though, I remember discussions with many awesome people, at least those will be preserved for the years to come for us to look back through.
