Due to a limited budget but High end requieremtns I am seriously considering changing my software, and currently softimage XIS seems to be the overall winner here www.softimage.com/products/xsi/default.aspxused for films such as Applessed, Happy Feet and such also for the Half Life 2 game it seems to be a definate winner right now Does anyone here use this? Whats your take on it? I coudl do with the advice

Our first tutorial is creating a rather complex looking snow mobile. Looks dauing but the interface and early example make to process look easier than it looks

I've been thinking of messing about with Cinema 4D again- haven't done anything with it for aaaages. Might even revisit a tripod design...
