He-he! Just wait until you see the little beastie really go to town on New York city! Rusti, I think you are going to love this! Apparently the choppers clip was heavily edited to remove the beastie and the 'rumoureed little ones'

Well this film looks awesome, thrilling, tense, a little silly in places but what film isnt.
This film is what War of the Worlds should have been, (note the monster needs no poncy shields like a certain other jackoff movie) and its more believable.
I can imagine the narrator from War of the Worlds running as the millitay battle the martians when the monster arrives and fights the US army. (Not hidden behind a bloody hill Spieljerk.) This is EVERYTHING WOTW wasnt.
I like the characters, i feel for them, they dont irritate or ponce about like chavs. (like a certain other film.)
War of the Worlds 2/10
Cloverfield 8/10
I still want to see this at the cinema.
Gripes only one its about 15 mins too short.

So what you are saying is that you didnt like the Speilberg WOTW film? not sure its clear enough hehe, I just watched the first 20mins of cloverfield and wanted to stop because: 1. Im at work and would probably get fired for watching pirated films on their internet connection. 2. My monitor is at full brightness and is still super-dark and the fact its a crappy camcorder version anyway doesnt help to see the details of the film. cant wait to see the rest, im going to go see this at the cinema too i can tell already! loving it! and i havent seen the monster yet so theres lots of anticipation bubbling up in me at this very moment!.......**buuuuuuurrrp** oh wait thats what it was

It's well worth it for the ending...Nuff Said I would say this is more how Godzilla (1998) should have been rather than War of the Worlds which for it's faults i still love D.F.

I've skipped through bits of it just to wet my appetite more and I have to saw what I've seen looks bloody brilliant. I am going to see it at the cinema, so I didn't want to spoil it too much, but wow! Real seat of the pants stuff! Godzilla would've been unbelievable if it had been anywhere near as good as this and I thought that was decent as it was.
I see the similarities between both Godzilla and WOTW - WOTW had a lot of the gritty, manic feel that this has, but I agree that it was good to see more of the action going on in here rather than most of it being off camera with WOTW.
