[glow=red,2,300]Thanks everyone The live show was brilliant. Shannon Noll was actually quite good and the guy playing the artilleryman, Michael Falzon, was fantastic! He was quite nice to chat to too after the show when he was signing things. I have to finish my half-written review eventually, when I do I'll post it up. And Nerfy, thanks a lot mate!! I look forward to hearing about Jeff's reaction to the plush martian! Especially to pics if you can get any! I hope he likes it![/glow]

@ Bayne. I know he'll love it. I'll get Poyks or Rod (Richie B) to take Photies so there will be some record of the handover. They will be posted here! As for my little fella ( I think I'll call him 'H.G' ), I can't get him to get off the hood of Brendan's JW FM model that lurks in the corner of my room. It's like he should have always been there....

Bayne. Please write a full fledged War of the World sequel, in the same vein as your 'Dehydration' story. I would go so far as to help illustrate it! Hell, I'd even PAY a little for it!

[glow=red,2,300]Your proposal has my attention. I've been meaning to get back to my writing as I have a few unfinished shorts and outlines for a number more. Did you read all my other wotw related mars/martian stories: The Martian Telescope, The Fake Martian, In the Clutches of the Martians, The Wind Sage and The Choir of Rudolph Messner? all can be found on my site www.geocities.com/supreme_martian_overlord/I'd be most interested to know which you like more etc as constructive criticism would be good before embarking on a novel. It has been suggested to me that The Choir of Rudolph Messner would work well as a novel so I was thinking of working on it as an expanded serialisation and submitting it to steampunk magazine or some such. That might give me the practise at full length novel writing required to do a direct sequal some justice. P.S. I forgot to say the Plushie Smilie is Brilliant! Great work Mr Grotey![/glow]

Well Bayne. You may or may not know I've already written a full blown TWoTW sequel! But hey! The competition might be a good thing?!? Having said that, I'm a bit of a fan of your short stories! Although... if you want to swap notes... I'll be happy to.

[glow=red,2,300]I'd like to read that! I'm currently in the middle of Heinleins I will Fear no Evil and have to read a couple of other things people have lent me and then I'll be onto it for sure!
