To kick things off... The latest nanny state pap I noticed on the BBC website - news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/6324129.stmI mean, come on, has everyone completely lost their sense of humour??? They were taking the mick out of Hamster, not out of people who are brain damaged.

I did wonder at the time if the Hamsters return would spark off the miserable grumps with no humour. ...And there it is! I thought it was a brilliant introduction to the new series.

In fact, Jeremy made a 'worse' comment during the 'roadworks' item in the same show but that was oddly missed. Hamster was happy to laugh about his accident so that's good enough for me and all this silliness was counterpointed by a feeling that there is genuine affection between the presenters.

Well we all know what we can do next election. if we want to get rid of nanny state vote em all out (with whom is another matter...) I can't think of anyone worthy of my vote at the moment unfortunately, which is somewhat frustrating.
