I suppose its better than that lumbering piece of near scrap metal that you used to have! At least this one is actually a car!

American cars are great in a straight line, but get one to corner is like getting a sea-tanker to turn.

You would probably beat me off the blocks with that bit of tin but I'd beat that baby 2.2 ltr engine over a distance. hehe

Noone was debating the ability of an american car to pull quickly in a straight line, though the VX is quicker to 60. Round corners you'd be blown away by his car. Having said that, I can't think of many cars that wouldn't be. Maybe the Lotus Exige? Other than that, specialist kit cars, and stupidly expensive super cars I reckon.

I'll find a stretch with fewer bends then!

but I'd beat that baby 2.2 ltr engine over a distance. hehe Quite probably...but I have the 2 litre turbo I'll admit it is geared for acceleration over top end though, it will run out of puff at 'only' 151mph KR

Actually that's a better top speed than I thought it was capable of. Mine can only do a measely 4 mph better at 155.

Now you're just exaggerating. It's three years and four miles. Stop being silly
