I had the misfortune of wasting 10 quid buying SS new movie on DVD: Attack Force.
I can only compare this film to Tim Hinds garbage. Its THAT bad. I bought this film thinking i'd see cool martial arts and shoot em up.
Did i hell. Segal is old and bloated, the plot was ludicrous even by SS standards and to cap it all off Segal's acting (such as it was to start with) is exceptionally dire. So dire in fact that half of his voice was dubbed over by a man who sounded NOTHING LIKE HIM. The voice would flick back and forth between mr whisper Segal and the man who does voice overs for Honda adverts!
Avoid this film like you would Tim Hinds or a dose of H5N1
Sh*te.
1/10
This has been a public health warning.

Oh dear that's a helluva comparison. One or two of his earlier films like Under Siege were ok, but I haven't bothered with any of his later stuff (luckily).

Steven Segal had a very good film with "Under Siege", and the sequel wasn't bad either. Then I saw "Fire Down Below". In this attack of Political Correctness gone berserk, Segal fights polluters, preaches a lot about the environment, and even plays the guitar! Plus he'd really let himself go-- an overweight martial artist is not a pretty sight.
I've had no interest in watching any of his films since.

To be honest, I wouldn't expect much from a film entitled "Attack Force" Last time I saw a title like that it was on an Action Man box ;D KR

I avoid Steven Segal films as a rule anyway. The man is a clueless B-Movie premadonna who thinks he knows something about editing...
see Under Seige 2 if you really want an exampl of what editing is not about

Sounds brill. I liked some of his early stuff actually but sounds like he's totally lost the plot.

"Avoid Steven Segals new movie"
I would have thought that was a given!!
Though I was pleasantly surprised with Under Siege recently, he's a load of old guff. Just an overblown, overweight coked up American 'martial arts' star. Best avoided in general methinks!

"Under Siege" completely sums up Seagal, sadly... Tommy Lee Jones totally acts him off the screen KR

Well Seagal belives the Dalihama is all light and purity. Explain that to the victims of the caste system when retribution was paid in disembowlment to the ruling monk class

He's currently doing a tour of the UK with his blues band. I've heard he's a nice bloke but I usually give his films a wide berth. The question is though - who kicks bigger ass - Chuck norris, Arnie, Steven Seagull or Jean Claude Van Dammage?
