This is a picture taken of the Moon last night with my new camera. Its unaltered except for a bit of cropping and a little sharpening. The moon image is as the camera sees it. just the excess is cropped away. Amazing quality, just imagine if i'd used a 400mm lens and not a the 135mm on my camera. here is the moon 3/4 full taken a few days before. This picture is heavily blown up and sharpened. but the detail even blown up is amazing. img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/RustiSwordz/moon-large.jpgOn a side note heres a view from my flat window. The road halfway up the picture leads to the Woking Martian 100 yards away. This picture was reduced down from 3000 pixels square! img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/RustiSwordz/windowview.jpg

Im amazed at the detail of this camera, i don't want to boast but im so chuffed with it. And my interest in photography has returned.
I had a little scare, a speck of dust got onto the CCDsensor and it was a bugger to remove, rubber gloves, mask over the face. a felt pad and a solution which you have to hunt for that wont bugger up the ccd.
But thats the price of the hobby!

Excellent!! Just a thought Rusti, our guitarist in the Zimmer Band is a pro photographer. I think you'd appreciate his work. www.michaelpowell.com/
