I'm so bloody chuffed with the new song, and the interest it's getting, that I felt inclined to start a new thread. Listen to "Three Years Alone" as well as the other songs on the MySpace page; www.myspace.com/ladibscricket Thanks Rusti for the comments on the other thread, I really appreciate that!

I know I'm biased here but I can honestly say the song is by far the best Brendan has ever done. I'd even go as far saying that this song is in a different league to everything else he's ever composed!

It's good stuff... as always. I won't go into how much your work should be out there. Mr P,.... we've discussed it before. Put it about! Damn I hate to see such talent being under wraps. Keep making the music. Some day you will be recognised!

Some of the finest playing I've heard from you yet. That guitar solo towards the end is just soaring! And did I note some extra vocals in the final cut? Superb work mate! It's good to hear you in such fine form!

Thanks mate, and thanks to everyone else! The lead break was played my Mike, our Zimmer Band guitarist. He's done a far better job than I would have done. When you see him doing the lead breaks on the Floyd live videos we've done, you can see why I asked him. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZVT16A2JCEOh yes, and there's a small vocal harmony from Mrs Poyks.

Big celebrations tonight!! The Ladibs Cricket album is finally complete!! It's taken a year to make, and I'm really going to push this one big time. I'm now going to get busy on the website, and I'll be making an application to iTunes to start selling; many people have been wanting to buy the songs on MySpace and elsewhere! The members of this board have been a massive help and inspiration to me, so I'm going to MP3 the whole album and send it for free to anyone here who PMs me their email address. I'll have to send the tracks one at a time so make sure you've got room in your inbox! Thanks again for the support from this great board, it's worked wonders!! Brendan

Thanks Nerfington, and yes, I'm pulling out all the stops for this one. I'm going to learn all of my previous lessons, take all the great advise I've been given, and get to where I deserve to be if it nearly fucking kills me!! Thanks, and all the help I can get will be very gratefully appreciated.
