Wow! I love the atmosphere you've conjured up in those pictures. Each work has its own atmosphere and you've done each stunningly well.
I like the way your fighting-machines are possibly a similar shape to the Martians themselves, suggesting maybe that the Martians are quite a self-obsessed and pompous species. Very menacing, very apocalyptic, very nice indeed.

I don’t know, humans tend to make robots and machines that are humanoid in shape. OSIMO and the creations of the robo-sapien project are pretty cool. |

But your basic point is dead-on: If the Martians are pompous and narcissistic in making things in their own image, then so are we.
