Thanks so much ;D, your response was the 1st good news in 2 days, the second one, is that i will have a pay on my moderator job, when the site becomes bigger, the howner told me that, but i am 49 so i know it wont be tomorrow morning, i told him to be patient, that does not happen in a heart of a beet ;D, but at least that tell me i do a good job and when he can he will pay for it.

Guys, i did'nt write much these days, i was so busy, but hey i tought who minute, this is my book, this is me, so i wrote this week, and it went very well, i will have to do the book, in two parts, there would be to much subjects in the same book, i want to exploit each theme as it should be, not only to the surface to get to the finish product. tonight i visited you in the off topic, and i felt at home, so i will see you very soon friends.

Hi guys how are you doing, since i started to come back here everything about the book goes better i have been writing for 3 days in a row, and i finally decide it will be in two part for sure, my idea at first is that even if it was a scifi, and wanted a lot of event being something that can happen for real, it is all in the first book, the second tho. No choice it will be Scifi, 90% Scifi, a lots of Ideas including Quantum Mechanic will be part of the second book, i had to find a way for humains to be able to fight the supposed Aliens on the top of fighting the new government, and China and Russia that decided they did'nt want part of the new government found a way to be able to fight the new Government, so who will we choose to fight with ,when Russia and China start WWIII, Do we have a choice, if so what is it gonna be, this ww111 will be hard, but what will be harder is when the Machines comes back, as it was. and also new models.
If it was the government that made them, how come they loose control over it? and over the ones that drive them? What happened between the times they died and now. The whole question is back, is the government did it or not?

Hi guys, i am at a stall mode, i love the tripods machine a lot, like everyone here, but i have a problem, altho these machines impress me a great deal, if i take the same idea for my book, it is not very original, i mean there is a lot done about war of the world over the years, including WOTW 2005, the movie, After the sequence about the tripod's attack, the book become completly different then other books or the movies, but still, i am in reflexion now, i will maybe change the machines for another kind very sadly tho, because the TRIPODS , will always be my favorites, it was important for me to talk about this to you guys, SciFi lovers like me.

i also know that there could be a kind of sequel of the modern version, like WOTW 2005, but the real thing is that, my mother told me that, that it was something already knowned by peoples i mean the tripods, So it put a dought in my mind. I know i am not 12 years old anymore, but my mother reads a lot of books, this is why i have doughts.

THE STORY ABOUT THIS, IS I KNOW MY BOOK IS GOOD, AND IT WILL STAY THE SAME, ONLY THAT I WILL PROBABLY CHANGE THE TRIPODS FOR ANOTHER KIND OF MACHINE, THAT I NEVER HEARD BEFORE IN MY LIFE, I AM A BIG FAN OF TRIPODS, BUT NOT EVERYONE ON EARTH ARE, AND THAT CAN BE BAD FOR ME,

NERPHY YOUR BOOK IS A GREAT ONE, AT LEAST FOR THE PART I COULD READ AND THERE IS ROOM FOR THAT BECAUSE NO SEQUEL HAVEN'T BEEN WROTE BEFORE ON THIS, SO THIS IS A GREAT IDEA.

BUT FOR ME AFTER WOTW2005 A LOT OF PEOPLES KNOWS ABOUT THE TRIPODS, IT IS NOT THE SAME, IT IS LIKE IF IT WAS A SEQUEL TO THE MOVIE 2005 AND I DONT WANT THAT.

You've got to go with whatever best suits your story, Chantale. If you don't want it to be associated with the 2005 film, then it might be better to change them. Good luck with it whichever way you choose to go.

Thanks guys, i have to tell you i have started the change but it is very hard, because the tripods ARE THE TRIPODS, you know what i mean, I talk about it today with my mother, and she said the tripods is what makes the best story, of course i talk about them at the beginning then is is a completly other story, they will come back tho, i think you all know what i mean anyway, what i want to say is it is very hard for me to not use the tripods because it is my favorite machine, even if i liked independance day a lot, the idea of the big city size ship was brilliant, but the tripod, like my mother said today, even the tripod call made her afraid hihi. I will still think about this, but it is what it is, i started this book because of the tripods machines. If i decided to keep the tripods they will be higher and bigger then the movie, and of course it wont look as in the movie, i will invent a nice one, if i do keep the tripods. Hi guys, yes i am not dead, sorry if i did'nt come on here earlier i was really busy and still am, for 6months i did'nt touch the book much, then recently, i started to take care of my healt, working out and stuff, in the meen time i was thinking a lot about the book, without writing, there is a peace of myself that was lost, of course it was writing, things happened a strange way, i knew my father had an idea for a film, he said it is a so good idea, it can make money big time, i know that he had this secret idea for month's now, the other day they came here, he gave me his idea, and ask me to write the book,

I have to tell you that right tere, the day after i was writing my book, and taking notes for the new one,

About war of our world, the end of the book is coming fast, faster then i tought how his so?? coincidence??

The book goes very well, when it is the time i think pretty soon, i will find an agent, this time it is true i wont back up, my healt is better my moral is good, i am READY,

the other book will really be something too, i have tons of ideas of course, and as with my book i take notes.

Sorry if i did'nt come before that, but i was thinking about you guys, and that is sincerely true.

As for whether you use tripods or not, I'm sure you'll make the right decision for your story... just go with what you think suits it best. Don't worry too much about what people have done before you.
