That's a nice original Martian design, rusti. I enjoy seeing completely original takes on the Martians, as opposed to the various 'copies' out there which always seem to resemble the Trim tripods to a certain extent. I have one gripe, however... the tripod feet. I just don't like em. They are... too bukly, too 'knobby', too... well, NOT cool looking, compared to the rest of it, which is really cool. I'd prefer to see some kind of claw-like mechanism. Or, if you're going to stick with a blunt foot, something that isn't so... well, like I said... knobby and bulky.
One more thing. Something I don't see a lot of, which you've done nicely with this design, is multiple leg segments - as opposed to the more commonly seen method of incorporating just two main segments which are connected by a single 'knee'. I think it would be cool to make the 'hip' segment for each leg... that is, the segment which connects directly to the body... a bit longer. Also, I see that the 'shin' is divided up into three seperate parts which look as if they could possibly telescope in and out to vary the length. I'd like to see this Martian design rendered with the 'shins' extended to full height.
Thats it. Again, nice original design there.

Very cool. I can't draw to save my life, and wish I could.

Great work, Rusti. Very sinister-looking!
