Thanks, everyone!  I'll have to get around to drawing some new piccies soon... I've been ridiculously busy recently so my artwork has kind of taken a back seat... but I do have work in progress and I'll get around to finishing it off very soon, I'm sure. How could anyone say these Martians are "unspeakably nasty"? They may look cute, but don't be fooled by their large eyes and innocent appearance! The minute you take your eyes off of them they'll toilet paper your house, grow red weed everywhere, hide all of your left shoes (but leave you the right ones so you can mourn the loss of that missing shoe), annoy the neighbors with the loud hammering sounds they make from the makeshift pit they have just dug up in your garden, and then try to eat you and take over your planet at the most inconvenient of times. They like to do that. |

This is the funniest thing I have read in a long time ;D Yes, you can't turn your back on them for a second. When I came home today, I found that they had been trying to cook tins of tiny ravioli with their heat rays... by zapping the tins until they exploded. Then they took all the food out of the fridge, and re-filled said refrigerator with socks, of all things! Who knows what they were thinking.  Anyway... back to artsy stuff... I sketched this then coloured it in when I should have been writing up a physics lab report on Microwaves, and thought that I'd post it here, as I have posted very little art recently, and it is at least something. Plus it's blue. And blue fighting machines are cool.  "I've got the heat ray... now where's the ravioli?" |

But that's a nice piece of work you got there, I'm still working on mine...again. Man it's taking me a long time to draw this thing. What can I say? I'm lazy. ;D
So judging by this picture, these Martians must be Italian...

I'm lazy. ;D Don't worry about the time it is taking to do your pic... art has a life of t's own sometimes, and decides how long it is going to take. It's best not to rush it, and take your time so you can get it looking exactly how you want it. There's no rush. Best of luck. ^^ So judging by this picture, these Martians must be Italian... I don't know if they are Italian... but while checking what edible stuff I currently have in stock in my house last night I discovered that my food cupboard contains an unnaturally large amount of Heinz tinned tiny ravioli... so who knows? :/  "Initiate World domination plan #129067...

As my thread was in serious need of an update, I felt like doing some arty stuff last night, and needed a new desktop background on my computer, I finished off my latest piece of artwork - one I've been working on for a long time - which I thought I'd share with you... of Martians tanding to and harvesting Red Weed, with the little baby martians playing alongside them! ^^  I hope you enjoy it, and, as always, comments and feedback are greatly appreciated! |
