I never expected to be saying this but it does look as if they are trying a bit harder this time. Whether this is the sort of quality we can expect from the finished film or whether this is all just window-dressing we shall have to wait and see.

Just watched the new trailer on their Facebook page and i must say it does look quite good. Two ways to approach WOTW 'Real Time' (As it happens) and a narrative (as the books written) so maybe the narrative as pendragon seem to be doing it this time will give us a better film.Do like the old fashioned black and white reel effects. We shall see : )

Well hopefully Hines has learnt from his mistakes. God know he made enough of them to do a whole lot of learning.

The bottom dollar is .... if this is good then we should all get behind it.Apart from Mr Wayne every arsehole in the film industry to date seems to have the silly idea that this story is set in America and yet we have got an American guy setting it in England (where it belongs).George Pal and Spielberg never did this story any favours. To me their films are nothing more than an insult to the written word (I won't even have a copy of their bastardizations in my house).
Lets hope this time we are closer to putting this story to bed definitively coz £200 million sqiddlies and 2 hollywood film makers have achieved an epic fail so far.Right rant over : ))

I have a feeling that this will be the film that Hines 'meant' to make. I won't go so far as to say that it will be good. I'd need to see it first. But, I will say that I am surprised with the quality of the visuals in the trailer.

So does the concept of communism on paper... LOL! I never mention his name any more or the amateur dramatics 'supposed' company he runs [ so I don't give them any publicity ] but I'm off now to watch the BBC's First Men in the Moon again. At least we have one half decent Wells adaptation on film.

Hello, Long time lurker here... My interest in the PP films were sparked by the first ever trailers available and I've read about their catastrophic film, decisions, attitudes and feedback ever since. Better than any soap opera ever. Anyway, just realised that this new project was meant to be previewed at The King Cat theatre in Seattle on July 23rd (the link is below). Did anyone attend? Any comments? www.kingcattheater.com/EventDetail.aspx?EventId=402Given that this is meant to tour in less than a month (assuming, of course, that there actually IS a tour) it's somewhat short-sighted of PP no to publish any actual venue names on their site other than the "Roswell UFO Festival, July 2012". Seems a bit fishy to me.... Oh, and has anyone else noticed that "Chrome" is now scheduled for 2012 and is listed as "in 3D"? At this rate, Chrome might out-do Duke Nukem Forever.

Nothing these people do surprises me any more and nothing they say should be believed until verified by an independent source. I've not seen the new version, nor have heard any comments from anyone who has, which is a bit strange now I come to think of it, considering this is a primarily a WotW fan site.

I think you'll probably find that no one gives a sh*t about that or the other film.

I think you'll probably find that no one gives a sh*t about that or the other film. Quite possibly (probably) true. Just making conversation as people usually seem pretty on the ball regarding changes to their site, etc. I'm one of those people who couldn't care less but did find the whole saga entertaining. I do wonder how PP actually makes any money without releasing anything though (assuming they actually make a profit). Their only output for the last year or so seems to be adding non-existent(?) venues for the tour and adding the characters "3D" to the Chrome poster. Exhausting stuff.

I think Hines and his crew have a weekend paper-round, it earns them enough to produce the spectacular special effects we come to expect. ;D
