By a strange coincidence, the other day (Last Saturday to be precise) I was thinking about the works of the late great Douglas Adams. After the success the BBC had and is still having with the 'Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' series why had they not done a televised version of his 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' series? This morning I found out that they have and it is on BBC4 tomorrow at 9.00pm. Hopefully the Beeb will make a good job of it. It stars Stephen Mangan as Dirk and co stars Darren Boyd and Helen Baxendale.

I saw the trailer a couple of days ago - looks like it could be a good adaption.
