I bought this straight to DVD film the other day, its a western starring Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan.
I have to say this is a superior western to the much touted 310 to Yuma thats touted around the past few months. The script is excellent, the acting is first rate with these two fine actors (yes PB can act beyond Bond and its refreshing to see him play a morally dubious character for a change)
The plot is deceptivly simple. Neeson and his Posse is chasing a roughed up, desperate and beaten Brosnan across the forest wilds of North Americas and it ends up in the dusty desert plains of the south.
The clever thing about this western is that the characters intentions leave you on a knife edge, who are they why are they chasing each other. Both characters are neither bad or good but something is eating at them to drive them on. Leeson is dark and brooding, Pierce is a haunted man, not the clean cut Bond we know this is the total opposite.
Only in the last half hour the threads come together and the full sad tragedy is played out.
8/10,
PS: the scene where pierce has to remove a bullet from his own arm is perhaps the most graphic and neck hair raising scene of its type i have ever seen, if it were real it must have hurt like ***k!!!!!!

Never heard of it, but it certainly sounds good. I'll keep an eye out.
