Verdict: Really Good Film, bit long though
Finally managed to go see this multi award winning film last night before they took it out of the cinema. Great stuff, Day-Lewis delivers a cracking performance throughout the film and is really believable. The acting was top notch and I wouldn't mind seeing it again actually.
That preacher kid was proper annoying and needed ...well... a good slap. Day-Lewis has a great voice and has always come accross to me as a 'real' actor and fully emmerses himself into his roles and this is no exception. There are several twists to the story that kept you interested in a film that wont be known for its action content.
If you havent seen it yet and cant get to the cinema before they stop showing it then you shouldnt definitely give it a go on DVD.
