I swear when i saw the movie in 2 years ago this month that when the tripod howled the first creapy freaky sound that it did not move and it dumped that amber liquid before it did but in the dvd it moves and dumps that fluid just as it lets out that horrible sound. Has anybody else taken any not of this?

Hm.
Although it's been two years since I saw it at the movies, I don't think it's been altered.
I always thought the stuff coming off it was rock and dust and that which it gathered when it popped up from below the ground rather than a fluid.
