The stated date was 2008. Trouble is that the last Tour was way more succesful than they expected so they have had to, by popular demand, pursue that. Also (and don't quote me on any of this ) Jeff is working on another new musical (not sure if I'm allowed to say what it will be, yet) and there are possibilities that 'Spartacus' may be coming back into view, in one way or another.... The film of 'TWoTW' will still be released, at some point, and Jeff is adamant it will happen, but there is no projected date, atm. The good thing, I guess, is that Jeff is (without a doubt) a workaholic and will juggle all of these things as much as he can to get them out there. TWoTW is definitely not forgotten! |

As far as I know (and you should know... if you don't already... that I run the official Jeff Wayne site as well as this lowly forum) the movie, when it is released, will be released worldwide. That would include the US.

No, I'm not Jeff. BUT, I know him snd the people behind the shows and such. I also run the official site and know enough to be able to talk about various things. And DF is right... my disco pants are no way big enough to accomodate Jeff Wayne. 'Nuff said |
