Thanks for posting this! I think the last time this was discussed I was unable to watch it as I was on slow dial-up. At least, I don't remember having seen it before. Yes indeed: More please! Like, oh, about 2 1/2 hours more!  Okay, so the computer animation isn't up to modern quality [edit: the animation of the characters is not, but the rest is still fantastic!], but it would *still* be the best period adaptation ever done! Kudos to Jeff Wayne, and his stage show was fantastic, but I'm really disappointed that the success of that show has delayed the animated movie.  |

So the CGI movie is still going through, right?
I just saw this on youtube and came here to confirm, becuase the guy who posted it kinda said that the movie had been cancelled!

Yes I've been assured by JWM the movie is still going ahead. When it will finally appear is another matter.

I'm well stuffed there- I saw 2010 when I was a teenager.
Though seeing 2010 first won't spoil The War Of The Worlds, you know.

My guess is that fleeingfromtripods was referring to seeing it before the year 2010, but The Donal thought he meant 2010 the film?
