Iron Man

Managed to watch this yesterday. Robert Downey Jnr is excellent of course and there's a strong supporting cast headed up by Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow and Terrence Howard (Crash). The film has a nice gritty feel to it which adds credibility to what is quite a fantastical plot. Despite some great action sequences it did still come across as a little slow for me and my only other nitpick was that the bad guy twist was too glaringly obvious right from the start. But other than that a good solid film.

Yeah I saw this on the opening night a couple of weeks back, im surprised I didnt start a thread on it, I thought it was fantastic, brilliant acting, great story, I thought it was fast paced pretty much all the way through even if you didnt funny in all the right places which is so rare in comic-to-film conversions its usually shite humour. I can rate it very easily on par if not better than my favourite marvel film up to that point (Spiderman 1) so Im really looking forward to getting it on DVD. If you havent seen it, go see it!
