I'm back.
Many of you have seen some of the posts I've written in the past about the run of bad luck I've had in my life. Well, that all changed on father's day.
As you've probably worked out, one of the fantastic pressies my kids got me was this brand new pc, hand built to the spec my eldest Son thought I would need, AND, it's all mine. It is now one of three pcs in the house so if anything goes wrong with it, I'm to blame.
I know there's probably over 100 pages or so to read back on, so don't be surprised if you see an old thread pop up every now and then. Eight months offline is a long time.
If you think a pc is a great present for Fathers day, check out the other one they got me. Only a Phillips DVD recorder with 160 gig hard drive no less.
So with two great new toys to choose from I'm spoilt for choice on how to spend my time. Apart from the 2000 odd films in my attic that need transfering on to DVD, I can now be assured that I will not run out of space for my choice of TV recording. ( 300 hours on a slow speed)
Just off to find the latest on the meet up.
