Came back from seeing this last night after not really wanting to.
The first time I heard about the remake so soon after the abomination that was the other one a few years ago I thought "hmm, well they cant do much worse!".
Then came the first image of the film, it was Edward Norton sitting on his bed or something, cant remember exactly, and i thought "Oooo! Edward Norton's in it! Great! I can't wait!".
Then came the trailer a few months back. And my heart sunk, I was not looking forward to seeing it at all really, I had no intention of going to the cinema after thinking it looked a bit crap from the trailer.
A couple of my mates wanted to go so I tagged along for the ride (having an unlimited cinema pass and all) and I left the cinema thinking "well that was pretty damn good!!"
I thoroughly enjoyed the film, the hulk did look a little too CG in places (well, quite a few places) but a world away from the luminous green wax doll they concocted for the last film. Robert Downey Jr. appears at the end as Tony Stark (the guy in the iron man suit) which was nice, as they mentioned Stark Industries during the film as a throw-away comment. Liv Tyler was probably the hottest I've ever seen her, I'm glad she isn't a complete stick insect like she used to be, (coz I'd let her date me now you see, haha!) Ed did a great job, Stan Lee did a very short cameo appearance, as did the original Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno.
Over all a really entertaining film and left me feeling glad that I went to see it
