Me and Mr Poyks are working on something new. I thought you all might like to know. We're writing a musical project going by the name of 'Playing With Pylons'. Basically, I'm writing lyrics and throwing ideas in and Mr P has graciously agreed to use his genius to turn my words into fully rounded songs. So far I have completed the lyrics to two songs: 'Here Be Monsters' and 'Auf Wiedersehen, Mein Fraulein' (these song names may sound odd out of context, but should make more sense in time!). Mr P has just sent me a snippet of the music for 'Here Be Monsters' and it's sounding damn good! Not sure how many tracks it will run to yet but I'll be beavering away on more stuff to add to it over the coming weeks. This is loads of fun and I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. We'll keep you posted!  |

Having read the lyrics and heard some of Poyksies brill music that is planned for it I'd say it's going to be really cool indeed. Good luck with it you guys.

Nerf's lyrics are inspiring me big time, and it's given me the confidence to experiment with different vocal styles. The electro/prog rock style is one that I haven't used for over 15 years, and it's good to be using it again with extra attitude! Indeed, do stop by and visit the site if you get a mo. Feedback would be much appreciated! I've been using a bout of insomnia to work on some artwork to accompany the tracks and the next song to be attacked 'Auf Wiedersehen (Numbers)' is now underway. |
