Who watched it last night on E4? What did you think?
I thought it was very good - not incredibly original, but a nice slant to the zombie apocalypse sub genre. Davina McCall was great playing herself then playing herself as a zombie too. I heard in an interview that she really threw herself into the role and ended up with bruises all over. Another highlight was the fire extinguisher scene near the end.
I don't know how the rest of the series will pan out, but I was impressed with this first episode.

Well, yes, it was a little derivative at times.. a weird mix of Dawn and Shaun of the Dead crossed with Big Brother. Some of the characters left alive in the BB house were, obviously, hugely annoying. Will be worth tuning in to see one or two of them get offed. The FX were good and the gore level pretty high which I was surprised about. But, how they are going to fill five hours and keep the pace and interest up remains to be seen.

Yes I saw it also. I love all things zombie, so was really looking forward to this, and as I hate Big Brother, was looking forward to the house mates getting killed. The statement I always say to the missus during Big Brother season is "If the house was blown up no one would care." I thought Davina was very good as a zombie and the throat tearing was great. I liked how British it felt - not trying to be American - as I feel we make some great horrors. It is 5 days worth and I'm looking forward to watching the rest. I will write another comment when it is over.

Well I thought it was a very good mini series. Last night's final episode didn't hold its punches. Quite a shocking and bold conclusion. Best character by a mile was the producer - he got all the best lines and his acting was top class.

The ending was the icing on the cake. Brave and poignant. Especially for TV. Excellently done, overall. I was very impressed at how it panned out. The producer was hilarious, and Kevin Eldon as Joplin (Gollum), I think, deserves a special mention. All worked hard at it. I'll definitely get the DVD.

I saw three episodes of this. Are there more than that? I kinda liked it. An interesting take on infection.
