I spoke to a chap i know who used to do fighter maintainance for the RAF.
he knew a guy who 'killed' an AWACS in a exersise against the Yanks. The AWACS has a blind spot directly underneath the plane. He flew nap of the earth in a Jaguar. Got under the AWACS and went vertically upward under the AWACS belly and Fox two'ed him.
The Yanks were pissed because our pilots are trained to fly low among the ground clutter where the enemy's radars cant pick them up!
