A MkII? Don't change it too much, I thought it looked perfect.

Since he chose the term "MkII," my knowledge of military terminology suggests that it will be the same basic model with minute improvements.

The closest description to the Thunder Child was it being a torpedo ram. To my knowledge on a few saw service, but for little ships they were very nasty opponents one on one against battleships of the era, due to speed, maneuverability and packing a punch. The USS Defiant of their time

Will this be a full-length adaptation?

re .Stargazer. Who are you asking? .Ashe is working on a fillum as I am. Is yours feature length Ashe? Im seriously looking at two possibilities; full length feature or 4 part series. I can give a full rundown on all the hurdles Ive been jumping if peeps want to know? Also do you want additional info on Thunderchild / Polyphemus? ( I don't want to swamp the thread with twaddle unless you want it!) Ps The FM has got go-faster stripes and a stereo fitted now.

Fluffy dice optional. ;D If you decide to do a 4 part series at what point in the story would you have the breaks? the end of the Thunder Child scene is an obvious halfway point but what about the other two breaks?

Well the DVD itself is broken into 5 parts 1: Chapter One: The Harvest, which looks at the prelude of the invasion from the Martian's point of View (running time: 8 to 10 minuites) 2: The Crystal Egg: A retelling of the Crystal Egg story, (running time 20to 25 mins) 3: The War: The full H.G. Wells adaption, maybe between an hour to 2 hours, a lot of work to be done there) 4: The Last Voyage of the Thunder Child (slinet movie retelling of the Thunder Child's last battle with the Martians) 5: Dark Seed: a little story set in London about the Consequences of the Crystal Egg story add with that documentaries, making off, interviews and music and you'r probably looking at 5 to 7 hours worth of material

Nice design! So, the Thunder Child gets a short movie all to itself.
